Even though Los Metates Studios is primarily a film company, live theatre has always been a big part of our efforts. Some of our favorite (and biggest) projects have been our collaborations with Encore! Theatre, a former Albuquerque-based theatre group led entirely by students. Each of our team-ups with Encore! Theatre incorporated film scenes with the on-stage action, a unique new media experience that received rave reviews from audiences.
